A tradition of creativity is the hallmark of MPG. Established in 1963 by Giardi Dario, the tannery has remained true to that creativity and established a reputation of reliable excellence.
The tannery is best known for producing the finest belt leather anywhere.
M. P. G. produces mainly vegetable tanned bovine shoulder leathers.
It is part of the Consortium "Genuine Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather", synonymous with quality, tradition and respect for the environment.

Vegetable-tanned bovine shoulders that resists the degradation of time; leather ages and becomes even more beautiful. The natural ageing does not compromise resiliency and only contributes to a rich, vintage look. The thicknesses ranging from 1.8 to 3.0 mm., from 3.2 to 3.5 mm. and from 3.6 to 4.0 mm.
This leather can be finished in many ways such as waxed, smooth, milled, brushed, nabuk, embossed, aged, Shiny, Mat, Hand stained, Pull-up, antique, vintage, cracked, metallic. Upon customer’s request we can have waterproof treatment, fireproof treatment or resin finishing on the rough side. This kind of leather is mainly for belts, bags, leathergoods and furniture.
